Last updated: October 29, 2026
Crash Media ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). It covers crashmedia.ca and the services we provide to clients.

- Contact details you send us, such as your name, email address, phone number and company, when you email us or become a client.
- Project information you share so we can quote, design or support your systems.
- Technical access data when you start a remote support session or use our client cloud, limited to what's needed to provide that service.
- Server logs: our web server records standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and it doesn't set cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotes.
- To deliver, support and bill for the services you've asked for.
- To keep our systems and yours secure.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We don't sell or rent personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers we rely on to run our business (for example email, hosting or payment processors), only as much as they need, and only for the purposes above, or when the law requires it.
Client systems and data
When we work on your systems we may see data stored on them. We access it only as needed to do the work you've asked for, keep it confidential and don't keep copies longer than necessary.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it with reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent where applicable. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
